How do I know I can paint?
Many of my students had never painted before coming to their first class. But, not one of them failed to finish a ready-to-frame painting they were proud of in their very first class. You can do it, too!

Tell me about the Bob Ross "wet-on-wet" technique.
It is the application of wet paint on top of wet paint, omitting the traditional "wait" for each layer to dry. Using special firm oil paints and starting with a wet-based canvas, paint may be glided across the canvas with large brushes and palette knives - making clouds, trees and water appear in seconds. And, it's so easy! Try it!!

How are the classes conducted?
All students paint the same painting.
I teach classes in a very easy-to-understand, step-by-step method. Students are shown how to paint a feature and the students then paint that step while I oversee their progress. With a maximum of 5 students at a time plenty of individual attention helps the student progress very quickly.
Even though you've never painted before, in your very first class with your own talents, you complete a ready-to-frame painting that you are proud to take home.

What do I have to bring to a workshop?
I supply all the equipment you need to produce your masterpiece. Make sure you wear old clothes as you are likely to get paint on you and oil paint doesn't come off clothes. You can bring a pack of baby wipes with you for cleaning your hands. Plus something to eat for lunch.
